Channing’s musical foundation was classical—clarinet in hand from age 10. But the real adventure began when she left it all behind: one person, one bicycle, a handful of dollars, and the open road to Key West. After shedding material ties, she met a sailor who changed everything—teaching her to sail, sing, and play banjo on the open sea. The Caribbean became her stage as bass player in a spirited fiddle band. Eventually, Florida State University called for a Music Therapy degree. Jessica Wachs is an award-winning Key West singer-songwriter, radio personality, and the founder of Rumble Productions whose work blends jazz, theatrical storytelling, and original music. Classically trained with a strong improvisational edge, she creates projects that bridge stage and screen, often exploring identity, culture, and the human experience through a bold yet heartfelt lens. A seasoned producer with a mission of connecting Los Angeles excellence to Key West character, Jess is living bi-coastally between the City of Angels and the Rock, where she was recognized 11 times at the Key West Music Awards, as a finalist at Cannes Film Awards, and beyond.
